What are the language requirements?

You might need to provide evidence of your English language ability if it is not your first language.
We accept the following qualifications:

  • IELTS (Academic) at 6.0 overall (6.5 for MPH programmes) with no individual component below 5.5 (6.0 for MPH programmes) within the last 2 years.
  • Pearson PTE (Academic) overall minimum 50
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CCAE & CPE) with minimum scores of 162 in listening, reading, writing, and speaking
  • TOEFL iBT overall minimum 60
  • Trinity Integrated Skills in English (ISE) II: Merit or Distinction
  • Duolingo minimum overall score of 90 with no subscore lower than 85
  • IGCSE – ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
  • IGCSE – ENGLISH LANGUAGE
  • Degree – taught and assessed in English and completed within the last five years (depending on country of study) – A transcript will be required or a letter from the University to confirm it was taught in English.
  • O-Level English Language or GCSE English Language Grade C or above (UK Exam Board) Malaysian SPM 1119 Grade 6 or above
  • WAEC/NECO must be from within last 10 years
Degree certificates

We will require confirmation that the course was conducted in English, we can accept this from any nation, within the last 10 years. Evidence of this can be provided from either the official degree Certificate, Transcript or a letter from the University containing the University logo, a signature and an official stamp.

High School Certificates
